Weekend Writing Warriors 8Snippet Sunday

I hope you all have had an enjoyable Christmas with your family. Our holiday celebrating extends to New Year's Day. I hope the New Year brings wonderful surprises your way. Now let's get down to some writing.

Weekend Writing Warriors is a great way to find new authors, get snippets of your favorite authors' works, and get sneak peaks of upcoming books. Visit the link.
Thanks for your support. We hope you enjoy our endeavors.

This week I'm working on a new scene for Diamonds Sometimes Lose their Luster. It's the morning after, and Shelbie's had one too many margaritas. You don't see it in the snippet below, but the couple is on their side, back to front. This snippet has been edited to get the effect of present and her dream vision in 8 lines.

Her thoughts in the present are in regular font. Her dream/vision is italicized. This version is PG13. I'll let readers know when it gets too steamy. What I'm looking for is continuity and that Shelbie's feelings in both situations are portrayed without being confusing. Any help is appreciated.

Groaning inwardly, she remembered almost single handedly downing a pitcher of margaritas last night. Everything else was a blur.
She rubbed her lips up the side of his throat. The prickle of his morning beard, sent shivers of pleasure through her body. She eagerly ate at his mouth already overwhelmed with need for him.
It took long moments for Shelbie’s alcohol soaked brain to catch up. Her brow furrowed in confusion. Hadn't his breath whispered along the base of her neck, his teeth gently scraping along the ridge of her shoulder before nipping at the soft spot behind her ear?

Diamonds Aren't Forever is still on sale.

Here's snippet from book 2 of Diamond Sometimes Lose their Luster. In this passage, Shelbie is bombarded with a vision. She's sitting in the park drawing designs for her lingerie store, and instead of coming up with that perfect bra and panties set, she keeps coming up with a room. As the vision begins not only does she see the drawing on her pad, but begins to live it, transported to the place.

She reached out her hand, and then snatched it back. She was in the room, again. Pounding blood sang in her near deaf ears.

Calm down. Look around; study the room so you can remember it later. Committing every detail to memory, she stood in the middle of a a… den, no a… sitting room? Or was she sitting in the park just looking at what she’d just drawn? She squeezed her eyes shut, blocking out the scene before her, hoping she was having a breakdown and not what she knew in her gut was actually happening.

Merry Christmas! I'd like one if these please!
I wanted to keep with the Santa theme, so here's another Santa who needs help stringing lights.

Sexy Santa 5

We're getting closer. It's looking a lot more like Christmas around my house. Scents of Christmas cookies fill the air. (It's a candle) I'm making Christmas cookies next week. There are parties to get ready for. (3 sister-in-laws, their children and grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 2 step-daughters and their husbands, and 1 son) will be converging later on at my sister-in-laws.

Hah. You thought I was going to say here. Nope, not this year. But I've had that happen in the past. Thank goodness I'll only have to clean up after fifteen people gathering in our home this afternoon.

By the time I get everyone out of the house, clean up, all I want to do is take a hot bath and curl up with one sexy Santa.

Sexy Santa 6

I thought it would be difficult to pick just the right sexy Santa for the halfway point. I mean if you've been following this blog, or have seen online advertisements of the numerous sexy Santas out there you know it's hard to choose.

Today I wanted a more traditional guy. A well-built, sexy white bearded man in a red suit. Obviously they don't exist. I'm not here to rant, because this is supposed to be fun, but don't advertisers know that us mature women think men like Hugh Jackman, Gerard Butler, and Jax Teller, to name a few, have extremely hot bodies.

So, a traditional sexy Santa shouldn't be too much to ask for. After all, tis the season for miracles.

Here's one in a red suit, well partially.

Who is coming down your chimney?

Sexy Santa #7

I couldn't decide if the title should be 7 Sexy Santa or the one I posted. When I saw 7 Sexy Santa, I can't really post my thoughts here. Just know that included doing things with more than two sexy Santas.

That brought me to the picture I found of a group of sexy Santas advertising water polo. You can find that article on my Pinterest board mmmmen.

Now, I'm a big football fan. I prefer college football, (Roll Tide). I am a Tennessee Titans fan (my home state and all), but I've always preferred New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons. I like them tall, muscular and just a little on the stocky side. The more I can hold on to the better.

But there's nothing wrong with a lean muscular guy. I sit up and take a second notice. So, these sexy Santas are a tribute to the sports fan in all of us. And as always, the more the merrier.

Italian water polo team

I had to add this one too. There are 8 of these guys. So close to the magic number 7.

Sexy Santa #8

I hope you're enjoying these last few days till Christmas as much as I am. Well, maybe not in reality, but here on the blog. When I began this, I had a few themes in mind, but there was one that never crossed my mind until I saw the picture.

Wait for it. You'll be glad you did.

So, I'm making Chocolate peanut butter balls today, and I have a few party foods to work on this afternoon, but one of my girls, (6th grader that I mentor on Wednesday evenings), will be putting up her Christmas tree later this evening.

Most have theirs up already. And this year, I went back to the tradition of getting it up on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Well, last week our group was humming Christmas Carols that we liked and the rest of us were trying to guess them, when she piped in while we all guessed the song, "O Christmas Tree."

"We," here she draws out the word like any good drama queen, "never put our Christmas tree up on the day after Thanksgiving." She pauses for effect. "Oh no." There a finger wag injected here. "Our mother's birthday is on December 17, sooo we wait and spend the evening putting up our Christmas tree then."

I won't go into the rest of the story, but her comment turned into a free-for-all discussion of real or artificial trees. The seven girls volleyed off one liners like pros. I do. We do. I have. We don't, I like, We cut," and the scene went on and on until one girl asked, Ms. Jai what kind of Christmas tree do you have?"

Without hesitation and finality in my voice, I replied, "Artificial."

Here I need to pause and explain. We don't know just how much we learn from our parents, Or possibly it is hereditary, but  there are two things I learned from my mother.

I loathe making my husband's lunch (that story is for another time), and there isn't enough money or alcohol in the universe to get me to string lights on a Christmas tree ever again.

At our house, I put up a five, foot five inch prelit slim Christmas tree. There are several reasons, but the only one that matters is I don't have to string lights.

Evidently, I'm not the only one having problems with lighting. Today's sexy Santa seems to be in trouble. For him, I'll make an exception and lend a hand.

Jingle all the way.

Day 9 - Christmas With You Sexy Santa

If you've been on my blog at one time or another then I'm sure you have seen my book reviews or author spotlights. Well, today's sexy Santa is accompanied by review of Tracey Alvarez's Christmas Christmas With You Novella,

Christmas With You – Tracey Alvarez
“You know, ho-ho-ho, and pretty girls under the mistletoe” (Lucy; Charles Schulz, A Charlie Brown Christmas).
As I finished Christmas With You, I could see Lucy leaning on the toy grand piano with Schroeder playing his heart out, only for Lucy to contradict him on every version. Before his last attempt, she gave the line above, her eyes fluttering a thousand miles per second to get her man. She had the moves.
And so does, Carly Gatlin, well she would have if she hadn’t fallen off the ladder while hanging mistletoe, but wouldn’t you know old Kip, all washboard abs, dark hair, blue eyes, and nearly six feet of muscle comes to the rescue.
Christmas With You by Tracey Alvarez is a fun novella that will get you in the holiday, as well as in the romantic spirit.
Due South is a bar on Stewart Island, New Zealand. It’s about as far south as one can get before hitting Antarctica. The series isn’t only about romance, and some scenes are sure to steam up any room, but also about family. Family is all important to these characters, and Tracey puts it out there. The good, the bad, and the oh so yummy men of that tiny island.
If you’re looking for some man candy, a woman who can’t resist being dragged out of her bah-humbug attitude, and an invasion of family, Kip’s, then for goodness sakes run out and purchase this book. It will leave you warm-hearted and ready to tackle the mad Christmas rush, hours of backing, and the worst in-laws this side of the South Pole.
If you’re a white Christmas kind of girl or guy, then head to the beach for some white sand. It’s summer down south and we get to see lots of skin, and a water gun fight that has parts of the female anatomy standing at attention.
Kip’s family, mother, father, three older sisters, twin nephews and an infant niece invades Kips peaceful solitude this yule season. They have an ulterior motive to get him to return to the family farm up north on the mainland. Carly is missing her deceased father, and is all alone because a Grinch of her older step-brother doesn't want to bring her into the family fold. Oh, these two should get together. And Kip’s mother and sisters are on a mission to not only make Carly’s first Christmas without her father memorable, but to help luv just a little bit. But wouldn't you know, there’s a few bumps along the way.
This story is not only heartwarming it is light, fun, and has the right touch or romance to keep even us die hard erotic fans coming back for more.

Christmas With You excerpt:

“My dad always insisted we have a real Christmas tree, not a fake one. Every year, even after Mom died, we’d drive out to a farm to pick one out. We’d lug that fir over to his pickup—him taking the weight at the heavy end, of course—and after we’d loaded it, he’d scoop me up and pretend to throw me on top.” Her lips curved at the memory. “Back home, we’d hang every single decoration in the box on that damn tree. His decorating philosophy was if the light reflecting off the sparkly balls and tinsel weren't blinding us, we hadn't accomplished our second Christmas mission.”
Second Christmas mission?”
She nodded, resisting the temptation to burrow into him farther. “Get a real tree and deck it out Gatlin style. Mission number two out of six.”
“What was the first?”
“Write a letter to Santa—in my best handwriting, with correct punctuation and grammar. No cheating by using a computer and spell check.”
“And the other four missions?”
“Number three required a trip to the nearest mall to sit on Santa’s knee.”
He pulled back to grin down at her, brushing a strand of hair off her face. “Didn't you already write him a letter?”
“The letter was to tell him what I wanted. I had to thank him for all his hard work during the year in per-son.”
“And to plead your case to be on the nice list?”
“I was always on the nice list.”
“I bet you were. And fourth?”
“Baking Christmas cookies to share with the neighborhood. Mission five was planting the magic Christ-mas beans.”
Kip’s eyebrows shot up, and a giggle slipped past her lips.
“Magic Christmas beans?” he asked. “You've lost me.”
“On Christmas Eve, a little envelope of jellybeans would arrive in our mailbox, along with instructions on how to plant them in our backyard that night. Come Christmas morning, I’d wake to find the jellybeans had transformed into a row of candy-canes.”

Day 10 of Sexy Santa

As I look around me these days, I see more men with beards than ever. There range from the slightly scruffy to unkempt, Duck Dynasty type.

But, this time of year I look for a snowy, full beard and mustache. The man we saw at Wal-Mart the other day, ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. was the closest I've seen.

It came to his chest, covered the entire lower half of his face, and was white. At one time this gentleman had been a blonde because the fringes of the beard, and a few strands were still blond.

I have a friend who helps Santa out, and allows his beard to grow long and full this time of year. The majority of his has that nice white color to it, but again, a few black strands around the roots are showing.

Another thing I've noticed about these longer beards is that they're curly; the hair is unruly. I like the smooth finish of a closely cropped beard on my cheek or tickle on my lips when we kiss. And that leads me to this week's Santa.

He's a hunk now, and sure he could grow that beard out to let us naughty, nice girls sit on his lap and stroke it, but think of the potential in years to come.

Weekend Writing Warriors 8Snippet Sunday & Sexy Santa

Weekend Writing Warriors is a great way to find new authors, get snippets of your favorite authors' works, and get sneak peaks of upcoming books. Visit the link, and thanks for your support.

Here's another snippet from book 1 of Diamond series, Diamonds Aren't Forever. Here Peyton's thinking back to the first time she met Diamond Malloy. I chose these sentences because, I want readers to see there is more to Peyton than falling for two guys. She is a smart woman who lived through rough patch, and came out the better for it, (only in fiction can a criminal reform so easily, but that's where the characters took me).

Peyton spun around, schooling her face into an unemotional mask. Standing at the opening of the alley was Malloy. His chocolate brown eyes bored into hers. She fought the urge to swallow.
Sizing him up, she took in his mocha skin, shaved head, and diamond stud in his right ear. He looked to be about six feet tall and if it wasn't for his thick muscled chest and arms, Peyton would have called him lanky.

Playing her act to the hilt, she shoved the wallet into Shelbie’s hands, forcing her friends behind her. That he hadn't laughed at the fact she was shorter than the other three was a testament to Peyton’s brashness. “Why would I want to do that?”

In the title you noticed mention of Sexy Santa. Book 4 in the Diamond Series is going to be a novella, Diamond and Amalia's story, and it slated as a Christmas story. It will be lighter, give a lot of the
early years together, and hope for the future. So, to usher you into this season, here's how I see Diamond playing Sexy Santa.

Twelve Days Christmas Countdown - Sexy Santa

I've been good all year. (Don't listen to those who tell you I'm naughty. They're just jealous). I've worked hard. I volunteered time each week. I have been there for my family. I've even juggled editing and writing like a pro for the last month while dishing out holiday cheer to family and friends.

Ho-ho-ho.

So, I'm kicking off the last twelve days before Christmas countdown with some sexy Santa's. Each day I'll be bringing you some sexy hunks in red suits (mainly sans red suits), and that little red hat. I have my favorites, but I'm bringing in a mix.

So, without further words, Here's tropical Santa---

Yum!

Thirsty Thursday

I hope you're thirsty! Holidays are stressful enough, and though I advocate responsible drinking, if I'm staying in, no driving at all; actually no plans of using heavy machinery, i.e. the stand mixer, and possibly having to wrap 2000 lights on a Christmas tree, then I suggest leaving off the good stuff.

However, if you want something that packs a punch, but is smooth going down, and tastes great to boot, then try Angel's Envy Bourbon.

I love cocktails. And while wine cocktails or mulled wine is good for this time of year, it's not on the top of my list. In fact, I'm always going to reach for a Scotch, Whiskey, or Bourbon before grabbing a bottle of wine.

Angel's Envy was brought to my attention by my son. He purchase a reserve bottle from a local auction, benefiting a charity, and gave me a drink. Now, I have my favorites where Scotch and Whiskey are concerned, but never took to Bourbon.

Bourbon whiskey's main ingredient is corn, whereas, whiskey is made of various grains, with corn being just a part not the major grain. Some bourbons have too sweet of an aftertaste for me. So, I usually don't drink bourbon.

But, Angel's Envy is even different. It's a Rye bourbon. And the particular batch he purchased had a higher alcohol content. Anyway, on with my story and recipe. Now, I have a new bourbon whiskey I'll be purchasing.

Make no mistake. If you want to try Angel's Envy, it's going to cost. The price of the reserve is quite high. But the average 750 ml bottle is around $40.00 - $60.00.

It's well worth the cost, and I suggest serving this to your special friends.

Here's the recipe. Enjoy! And safe imbibing.

Cherry Cherub

Myria Free of Trifecta, Austin TX

Ingredients

2 oz Angel’s Envy
¼ oz Barenjager
2 Black Cherries
Ginger Ale

Instructions

In a 9 ounce glass, muddle the Cherries. Add the Barenjager, Angel’s Envy and STIR (do not shake). I am assuming, because the recipe doesn't say, to fill the rest of the glass with ginger ale and a few ice cubes.

Temptation Tuesday - Food Porn

So, I was trolling around the internet, searching some of my favorite holiday sites, when a pattern became apparent to me.

It didn't jump out at me, at first. But, soon the fog in my brain lifted and I clearly saw the theme. And, what do you know, the industry has turned food into porn.

Hah. And us romance writers get bashed if our love scenes get a little more graphic than the industry likes.

I came across adjectives like sinful, sumptuous, decadent, delicious, and my favorite, thick and creamy. Words we all use to describe man candy, feelings, and ... well, you know what the last one's for.

Ooh, the man is sinfully delicious. Unconsciously licking her lips, she wanted to spend hours running her tongue over those muscled pecs and flat abs and ...

Something shrill and obnoxious invaded Peyton’s dreams. They were delicious and decadent and had something to do with making love to two Cajuns.

Her nipples hardened, and if she closed her eyes, she could almost feel them brushing against a hard chest. She sighed. Her fingers twitched, aching to wrap around their thick long ...

“You get dressed bébé. I’ll be in the kitchen with your coffee. How do you take it?”
“Coffee?” Peyton’s mind was still foggy with need. She couldn’t keep up.
“You do drink coffee?”
“Yes, black please.” She returned his spellbinding smile.

“Don’t be long.” He stepped into her space again. Suddenly Thierry stepped back. It took a moment for his absence to register in her addled brain. Her eyes flew open just in time to see his finger slipping between his luscious lips. “Mmmm. I like a little cream with mine.”

Weekend Writing Warriors 8Snippet Sunday

Weekend Writing Warriors is a great way to find new authors, get snippets of your favorite authors' works, and get sneak peaks of upcoming books. Visit the link, and thanks for your support.

Here's another snippet from book 1 of Diamond series, Diamonds Aren't Forever. It's early in the story, and Peyton's struggling with her feelings for men she should be hating, and finding ways to get them out of her life without tipping off her crime family.

Looking at them through her lashes, they looked too pleased with themselves to be abducting her, again.
So ask them what they want? But she couldn't make herself. You’re stalling. Am not. You want to know what it’s like to make love to them. Do not.

Gracious, she was a walking, talking image of a sexually frustrated woman who wanted them too much for her own good.

Thirsty Thursday

I don't normally post on Thursdays, but through the holidays, I thought I'd give my readers a treat. I'm a cocktail kind of girl.

Actually, if you asked me what I like to drink best, I'll tell you Raspberry Ale. I purchase mine at Whole Foods. It's imported from Belgium and is a mix of Barley, Hops, and Raspberries. Delicious.

I'm also hooked on Scotch. And I drink the expensive stuff. Thank goodness I'm not buying it, or I'd be broke. My son is a Scotch man, and his budget allows him to purchase the good stuff.

But, for the holidays, I like cocktails. Some might think of this as a summer drink, and I had a version of this at Outback one summer, but we like it all year round.

Cruzan Black Cherry Rum
Peachtree Schnapps
Lime Juice
Sierra Mist

Add an ounce of the first three ingredients over ice in a shaker. Shake until chilled. Add crushed ice to a highball glass. Pour 8 oz. of Sierra Mist in the glass. Pour the alcohol over the soda and mix. If you want to make this look pretty then add a twist of lime and a Maraschino cherry.

I suggest you serve it with him, or have him serve it to you. Either way, enjoy!

Temptation Tuesday

I've been busy and almost forgot to post today. I'm doing a little holiday decorating, editing, and writing. And I've been looking for cheese ball recipes to take to a Christmas party on Saturday.

But, you don't want to hear about that. I've bombarded readers with blurbs from Diamonds Aren't Forever, and yesterday posted that it's on sale for the holidays.

So, in the next few weeks, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Christmas romance novels.

I love Decadent Publishing's 1Night Stand line. This is one of the first books I read. And, as always, I love Desiree Holt's novels. She puts us in the spirit in this one. The setting is perfect. Read this by a cozy fire with some champagne ladies. It will put you in the mood for love.

He Came Upon a Midnight Clear by Desiree Holt.

Cody Alvarez needs to find a wife by New Years Day or he will lose the ranch his uncle willed to him.

Libby Morris just needs, for once in her life, to feel desired. Sensual. Appealing. Especially after an intense reshaping at a high-end spa.

When Madame Eve of 1Night Stand invites them to Christmas Week at the Castillo Lodge in Alaska, Cody and Libby are not given the names of the partners chosen for them. As they wait to learn the identities of their one-night stands, they discover an incredible spark of chemistry and a connection stronger than either has experienced before. Will spending a very erotic night together ruin their arrangements or offer another option
?

Here's another snippet from book 1 of Diamond series, Diamonds Aren't Forever. In this installment, Peyton gets an up close and personal with Thierry, the other half the brother duo.

“Hey there, bébé.” He huffed softly. “I been waitin’ to do dis for hours.” He rubbed his sensuous lips over hers.
His eyes lit up like a black light, beckoning. She felt his large hand splayed between her shoulder blades while the other cupped the back of her head, pulling her closer, molding her body to his, swooping in for another kiss.
Where Sebastian’s lips demanded Thierry’s coaxed. Where Sebastian’s tongue devoured, Thierry’s skillfully searched. Where Sebastian’s tongue dueled with hers, Thierry’s teased and taunted, drawing her in. Snap, now she was lusting after both men.

Temptation Tuesday

Let me first say, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I wrote a Thanksgiving post on my other blog, so if you're in the mood to count your blessing, please feel free to read and leave a comment.

Now, Temptation Tuesday wouldn't be complete without a little something sweet. I know you're going to indulge this week. If you've been dieting, you only have a few more days until you can dig into a feast.

Here in the south, we eat dressing. A mixture of cornbread, dried sage, chicken stock, and eggs cooked in the oven until golden brown. I prefer stuffing. I'm not talking about the kind put inside the turkey cavity. That's just gross. But, bread cubes, fresh herbs like thyme and rosemary, maybe some dried fruit along with the chicken stock. It really is tasty.

My favorite items are cranberry sauce, and dessert. I will forgo eating dinner to get my hands on both. Yes, I'm a canned cranberry sauce fanatic. I've had fresh, and I like it, but I grew up on canned cranberry sauce. I wouldn't change it for anyone.

I know you're wondering what all this has to do with temptation? Well, I hope the blurb below gets you going. And just think, if you stick to that diet, you may grab the attention of a hunky man, or men in this case, like Sebastian and Thierry.

“Dieu, you’re beautiful,” Tee said, taking a step back. Peyton tucked her chin into her chest, embarrassed by Tee’s words.
“None of that chère.” Bastian’s finger tugged on her chin. His mouth covered hers in a sensual kiss.
Suddenly Peyton’s feet left the floor. She squealed, but didn’t have time to settle in Bastian’s arms as he gently dropped her on the bed.

\"Pooh.” Peyton pouted up at her lover.
“Tee’s waiting for you, chère.”
Peyton glanced over her shoulder. Her tongue darted out, wetting her suddenly dry lips at the sight.
Tee lay there looking like a marbled god. His chiseled chest, lightly furred, gave way to granite hard abs.

Here's another snippet from book 1 of Diamond series, Diamonds Aren't Forever In this snippet Peyton kisses Sebastian (at this time she doesn't even know his name) to keep her family from finding out the reason he's in her home.

Merde, she wound her leg along the outside of his thigh, rubbing it like a cat in heat. How had this gone from a simple kiss to sex standing up in seconds? He didn’t really care.
“Mon Dieu, I need you now.” He spoke through their kiss. Never breaking contact with her mouth, he lifted her, wrapping her legs around him. Cupping both hands beneath her heart shaped ass, grinding his erection into her weeping pussy.
“Yes.” His deep voice reverberated through her like a tuning fork.
Coughing from the doorway stopped him cold.

Looking up, he saw four pairs of amused eyes on him. His eyes fell on the woman in his arms. She felt right, too right. But like her home, something was off. His eyes narrowed. She’d only kissed him after they arrived. Why?

Firday Feature - Amy DeLuca/Patrick

Amy is a two-time Golden Heart finalist (2013 and 2014) who writes Young Adult fiction as Amy DeLuca and Contemporary and Fantasy romance as Amy Patrick.  Her books have won and finaled in many RWA chapter contests, and she is the author of the 20 SOMETHING series.

I couldn't have given her a better introduction. I was pleased when she asked me to review the series. And I must say, she definitely earned those awards.

The 20 Something series begins with the novel Channel 20 Something. Mississippi girl, Heidi Haynes, has come home to hide. Well, she did that in the first semester of college, and now years later, she's still hiding in her hometown. Her only outlet is her job at WPLM New station until the new sportscaster, Aric Serrano is hired by the station. Not only does she have to contend with being the weekend anchor, but working closely with Aric. Add into the mix and ex who's hoping to marry her, and a family, who's all up in her business.

But, that's not all these series have to offer. If you've ever wondered about working as a journalist, or in the news business, Amy delivers a lot of details, and makes it sound interesting.

Add in two best friends who have your back in every situation and this series is worth reading.

The series name, 20 Something suggests the news station where it all began, but you can factor in the ages of these young men and women and it adds a whole new meaning as well.

Book 2 in the series is Mara's story. Heidi and Aric are off on new adventures and so Mara heads home to Providence, a definite career boost, but also to take care of her mother, who suffers from depression.

All is well until she runs into her ex, Reid Mancini, who happens to be a billionaire. Since she left Providence Mara's motto is to date only himbo's. The term was new to me, which, incidentally, was thrown out in book 1, so I was curious. And I found out a himbo is a gorgeous, but not too smart male. A male bimbo if you will.

That leaves Reid off her radar, but that's not the only reason. Mara too is running scared of a real relationship, and she has her mother to thank for that. Her mother's 'words of wisdom', not, has had Mara seeking one, one night stand after another.

But Reid isn't about to let her get away. I can't say more because I'll give the entire story away. Reid has loved Mara since they were in grade school together, and though she left him, once he sees her again, he stops at nothing to have her.

Still Me, book 3 in the series is Kenley's story. In book one, she went home to Atlanta to marry her fiance. That didn't turn out the way it was planned. And I love how Amy wrote the way her ex dumped her. Nope, not giving that away. Kenley returns to work, and home to her parent's house. Where momma is still working on Kenley to snag a rich husband. WOW, these moms are something. They do a number on their daughters, but not to be manipulative, but out of love. Gotta love our parents. Anyway, Kenley goes to the opposite extreme, dressing down, not wearing make-up and swears off wealthy men.

But, Larsen Overstreet is doing his best to wear Kenley down. Between him and her mother, Kenley doesn't stand a chance. But Kenley isn't the only one who's not accepting who she really is. This book has the entire cast of characters growing, which makes the title really worth something.

These novels may be sweet romance, but Amy sure has some hot kissing and heavy petting scenes to appeal to those who like more explicit in their romance.

Temptation Tuesday - Sebastian

Ladies, here's more on Sebastian.

Sated, pleasantly tipsy, the party winding down, she got into the back of the limo, her cream silk pants whispering over sumptuous leather where she came face to face with tall, dark, and brooding.
It wasn’t that he wasn’t handsome. In fact, quite the opposite if one liked dark, moody men. And who would’ve thought she did. Her body shivered deliciously as his denim blue eyes roamed leisurely over her then and now.
Girl, you’re losing it.
During the ride home, she took in his shoulder length black hair, roman nose, full lips. Sensual is how she’d have described them in her novels. Blue eyes with thick lashes that any woman would sell her soul to have, and his slightly dimpled chin were a contrast to his personality.
Not surprisingly, he was dressed all in black. Black jeans, jacket, and T-shirt stretched tight across his muscled chest and sinewy arms. And he had the word thug written all over him.
Peyton was well acquainted with men like him. Men that protected their bosses and illegal livelihood without qualms. Men she’d thought were out of her life. Well, at least in the background.

For the next few weeks, I'll be giving peeks of chapters from book 1 of Diamond Series. Diamonds Aren't Forever. To keep readers interested in the series before it goes on sale for the holidays.

At the time, he’d barked out a laugh at her assumption he and his brother, Thierry, were there for a night of loving. It had died quickly on his lips as images of her soft naked body sandwiched between the two of them filled his head. It didn’t help that her full breasts strained against her cream silk shirt as she struggled against her bonds.

Braless. Lord help him, he almost swallowed his tongue. Her nipples were tight buds rasping against the silky material. His fingers twitched desiring to twist, tweak, and torture them until she came.

Diamonds Aren't Forever is an erotic, menage, romance. It sets up the mystery that continues throughout the series.
